1907
William Stein opens Stein Brothers, a hide, fur, and scrap metal business in Rice Lake, Wisconsin.
1950’s
Stein Brothers adds distribution and manufacturing of new steel and other metals.
1960’s
Stein Industries successfully transitions to its second generation of leadership.
1970’s
Stein Brothers acquires Carlson Store Fixtures, launches AirFlo Merchandising Systems and becomes Stein Industries Inc.
1980’s
E-Switch is founded and begins producing and distributing electromechanical switches.
1990’s
Stein Industries relocates to Brooklyn Park,
Minnesota, and creates a shared service business model supporting three companies.
2000’s
Stein Industries successfully transitions to its third generation of leadership.
2010’s
TEN Logistics is founded, and Floral Merchandising Systems (FMS) is acquired.
2020’s
Stein Industries operates with shared services supporting its portfolio of companies - AirFlo Merchandising Systems, Carlson Fixtures, E-Switch, Floral Merchandising Systems (FMS), and TEN Logistics.
